In addition to our large CNC machining capabilities, Medina Engineering are going down the path of Advanced Manufacturing with the introduction of 2 new 5 axis Mori DMG Multi-Tasking machines. This gives us the capability of not only machining smaller components, but when utilising the Espirit Software, the capability to do complex shapes combining the capabilities
of several styles of machine to do the work in one set-up. This offers:
*Reduction of programming time when utilizing customer’s 3 D models.
*faster turnaround, instead of doing on 2 or 3 machines, you do not wait for the additional machines to become available,
*by doing on 1 machine in 1 set-up gains greater accuracy which is often lost when transferring components between machines.
*we are not limited to large production runs – we can do smaller orders keeping your in house inventory down and storage cost along with that.
We believe with the 2 new 5 axis machines we can give savings on parts traditionally done on several machines and would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate how this can be done.
