Our History
Medina Engineering Pty Ltd boasts a 50+ years history rich in experience and expertise, cultivated over decades of dedicated service in the machining and fabrication industry.
Founded in 1974 when Agustin Medina, a skilled turning & milling machinist and welder, teamed up with his wife Cory to launch the business. Initially operating from the back of a factory in Camperdown, they soon moved to a rental space on Coward Street in Mascot. The company has navigated various challenges and milestones, continuously evolving to meet the demands of the market.
In 2020, Medina Engineering Pty Ltd constructed a new building (building 3) at the Wendlebury site to address increasing demands and enhance operational efficiency. This state-of-the-art facility, reaching a height of 10 meters and equipped with a 20-ton crane capacity, significantly boosting the company’s production capabilities.
Even in retirement, Agustin Medina remains a familiar face around the factory, often seen walking the floors and engaging with the staff. His presence is a testament to his enduring passion for the business he built and the relationships he fostered over the years. Agustin’s hands-on approach and wealth of experience continue to inspire the team at Medina Engineering.
